Update - January 2012

The project to redevelop Rotherham Central Railway Station and provide significantly
improved facilities for customers is nearing completion. The work is now due to be completed
this Easter. We apologise for delays to this project.

Redeveloping the station has taken longer than we expected and South Yorkshire Passenger
Transport Executive, and our project partners apologise for the delays and thank you for
your patience throughout the construction work.

Customers with disabilities

Platform 2 is currently accessible only via a temporary footbridge although we are working hard to
open the new lifts and waiting room as soon as possible. If you are unable to use the steps and have restricted mobility and need to arrange travel assistance for a journey to or from Rotherham Central Railway Station, please contact Northern Rail's Customer Relations team on:
